A limited-edition #LoveLoudoun beer will be released Dec. 18 to benefit the Visit Loudoun Foundation and encourage visitors to share what they like about Loudoun County.

Loudoun Brewing Company brewer Phil Fust has combined his passion for Loudoun and his love for brewing to launch a #LoveLoudoun beer in partnership with Visit Loudoun. Fust's team has brewed 60 barrels of an Amber Ale.

The beer, which was brewed at Beltway Brewing Company, features flavors of citrus, floral and pine undertones. Partners on the project hope people will not only enjoy the beer but will use the "Love Loudoun" hashtag on social media to share what they love about the county as a place to live, work or visit.

A kick-off celebration event will be held Dec. 18 at Ford's Fish Shack in Lansdowne from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The #LoveLoudoun beer can also be found on tap at any of Ford's three locations, Spanky's Shenanigans in Leesburg, Parallel Wine & Whiskey Bar in Ashburn, Delirium Cafe in Leesburg, Yummy Pig in Leesburg, Leesburg Public House, 14 Loudoun and The National Conference Center, both in Leesburg.

The Visit Loudoun Foundation provides scholarships each year to students who are looking to pursue degrees in the hospitality industry.
