Born and raised in Alexandria, VA. After attending Northern Virginia Community College, Carly transferred and graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BS in biology. VCU helped blossom her love of beer and helped to merge science and beer together. After working at Dogfish Head Alehouse and gaining some insight on the craft beer industry, she knew she needed to get into the production side of brewing. When she’s not working, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and going on walks.
